General

  1.  The tournament will run in accordance with ANSSACC General Championship Rules, Terms and Conditions (“ANSSACC Rules”) which can be read at www.anssacc.org.au.
  2. All participating teams have the right to lodge a protest with the Appeals Board as per Section 7 of the ANSSACC Rules by lodging the appropriate form and paying the appraise fees. Appeals Board decisions are final and can not be appealed further.
  3. Additional guidance on the rules is provided in the subsections below.

Squads

  1. Only the players listed in the squad above are permitted to compete for the team during the 26th Australian Sikh Games.
  2. The squad list can not be changed after commencement of the 26th Australian Sikh Games for any reason including injury.
  3. Clubs with more than one team at the 26th Australian Sikh Games may not substitute players between teams.

Player Eligibility

  1. The squad list must consist only of eligible players as per Section 3: Basic Participation Criteria of the ANSSACC Rules.
  2. As per Section 3.8 to 3.11 of the ANSSACC Rules, the Organising Committee of the 26th Australian Sikh Games will be responsible for governing the Basic Participation Criteria. The Organising Committee can:
                          a) Request teams to provide formal identification proving that a player meets the eligibility criteria
                          b) Exercise its right to disqualify an entire team from the tournament, in consultation with ANSSACC, for failing to provide.
  3. The Organising Committee of the 26th Australian Sikh Games has deemed that acceptable identification can consist of an original Driver’s License, Passport, Birth Certificate or Marriage Certificate.
  4. Affidavits / Statutory Declarations concerning a player’s eligibility will not be accepted by the Organising Committee as adequate proof.
