Swanport Harvest was established in the early 1960’s by Italian immigrants Maria & Charlie Ruggiero as a small market garden supplying a variety of fresh produce to the local and Adelaide markets.
Today, director Don Ruggiero, who took over the property from his parents in the early 1990’s, along with his wife Kathy have continued the success of this family owned and operated company. They have successfully shifted the focus of Swanport Harvest to more value added products such as lettuce, broccoli and cauliflower, creating a more viable business for the future.
